Durham hosted league leaders Belmont last night but went home with 0 points.
Durham lost this game in the first half defensive mistakes costing Durham dear and a sending off.
Belmont scored after only 5 minutes a cross coming in from the left and a free header by Liam Butler the ex citizien putting the visitors 0-1up.
7 minutes later and it was 0-2 as the visitors were putting presuure on the Durham goal.
9 minutes later and a corner from Belmont swung into the near post Dan West shouted Goalkeepers but was no where near and it went in at the near post Durham were all over the place at this stage.
Durham had a couple of chances and were just starting to play when defender Lewis Anderson saw red despite winning the ball his foot slipped up the leg of the Belmont player .The referee at first looked like a talking or yellow card before pulling out the red to the amazement of the Durham supporters and players.The referee did confirm it was not intentional but thought it was dangerous play.
Durham were now 0-3 down and one man down and the half time whistle soon blew.
Durham made a number of changes at half time substitute Kelvin Adelwale and Ted Knaggs both shooting wide .
Sunshine another sub in goal kept Belmont at bay Dan Lowther and Nelly were working socks of in midfield despite been down to 10 and kept Belmont to long balls but there was no way back and the game ended in a 0-3 defeat .
Mom was once again Dan Lowther and next up is second in the league away at Middlestone Moor on Saturday in the league.

Durham Win
Durham City went into the next round of the Clems Bowl Cup but made hard work of it yesterday.
Durham went down 1-0 to the Durham County Colts despite a bright start but were fortunate to be awarded a penalty Tunde scoring from the spot to equalise .
City took the lead after another Tunde penalty but again the Colts came back to level.
Colts keeper was easy man of the match and more the busier keeper as Durham knocked on the door on numerous occasions only to be foiled by the superb performance from inside the Colts goal.
Numerous decisions by the referee had both sets of management amazed but this time it was City who were awarded another penalty Tunde stepped up for his hatrick but missed was justice done for the Colts ?
Durham had played a large part of the game with only 10 men Mitchell Symonns sent of for a sliding tackle which caught the opponent.
At the end of the game it was 2-2 and straight to penalties
