Having watched the lads play over the
last 10 days it was great for myself and
Ross to get on the training pitch this
week in preparation for today’s visitors,
Obviously it’s our first game at the
helm so there are a few nerves but
more so excitement in looking forward
to seeing how the lads play and
progress under the pressure of what
we will demand from them.
There’s a good feeling in the group off
the back of a good performance and
win away to Esh Winning last week so
there is a want within the group to build
on that positive result to kick-start a
climb up the league table.
Jarrow will provide a real test for the
lads as will every game in this league
but we have to take the challenge head
on as a group.
We’ve seen enough from the players to
know that if they do the basics well and
continue to listen to the messages we
give them it can be a positive afternoon
